So, being a big Braves fan, paying $12 or whatever it was to listen to the games online was a no-brainer. Most of the games start at 7:05 or 7:35 EST, so listening to the game at work is a good wind-down for the day’s work. Today’s complaints are on the interface employed by www.atlantabraves.com to get to those audio streams.

Complaint #1: No cookies. If I like listening to the games on the net, you’d think it would be a fair bet that I’d like to do that every day. The fact that the mlb site makes me log in every day is just annoying.

Complaint #2: When you click on the “listen” option, the site takes you to a list of all available radio broadcasts for that game, sorted into “Home” and “Away.” For someone who uses this every day, I could care less whether the Braves are playing in Atlanta or Chicago or Florida or wherever. It’s annoying to have to go to a schedule, find where the game is, and then make my broadcast selection. If I’m accessing the site through atlantabraves.com… you’d think I would want to listen to the Braves broadcasters.

None of this is really all that surprising, though–the MLB site in general is terribly outdated.
